Uwatec Dive Computer Battery Replacement

Formerly Brass Anchor Scuba Center

We are able to replace many dive computer batteries including US Diver Monitor, Parkway Legend, Beuchat, Uwatec Aladin Pro, Uwatec Nitrox, and many more. Battery is replaced, seals cleaned, and resealed with dry air or oil. We do not calibrate dive computers, but do pressure test every computer for accuracy at 100 feet for no extra charge.

Quick turnaround time. Shipped USPS Priority Mail. International shipped USPS Mail.
Send with name, return address,  email address, and phone number inside box.

To prepare for shipping, remove dive computer from first stage (if attached). Do not remove oil, diaphragm, or cut battery from computer. You may bundle together as many units as you wish. No return authorization required. No repair charge for units that are found to be defective within 90 days, but return shipping charge will apply.
* Do not send to us with signature confirmation required. We will send you tracking information if your email was in the box. If you do not have a Paypal account, Paypal will email you an invoice with directions for payment. You may then use Paypal, Zelle, cash, or personal check. NO cashiers checks, money orders, or travelers checks.

Scubapro no longer services the Monitor 1, 2, 2+ or Monitor 3. The 2+ and 3 computers require hookup to a device to wake it up and reset battery level meter. Scubapro has determined it is no longer economical to service but we are able with high success to service these computers for less. Send them to us!

Suunto D4, D6, D9, Stinger, Spyder send to
Underseas Scuba Center for special service of these wrist top computers. Most other Suunto computers have a user replaceable battery.

Don't worry if your Uwatec, Parkway or USD Monitor dive computer is not pictured on this page. We can probably do it.

See bottom of Service List for some computers that cannot be fixed.

About Us

Service List

What is the success rate?

If the dive computer was working properly before the battery went dead, there is a very high success rate with changing the battery. Occasionally, a computer has failed and caused the premature failure of the battery for which we cannot repair. If the computer cannot be repaired, we will only charge you for return shipping. If you have already removed the battery yourself, we will attempt the repair however the success rate can be lower.

We now pressure test every instrument we replace a battery in. Sometimes we find the accuracy of the computer is not what it should be and we will note that on the paper work. If way out of specification, we will call you.

Battery price has recently increased by 39%. We will retain current pricing through 2024, except on Ebay.

It is difficult to get all the small air bubbles out of oil filled computers. Although we are quite successful at this, small bubbles may appear with time. These will in no way hinder the operation, reliability, or readability of the display and can be ignored.

Newer Smart series Uwatec computers have a simulated battery timer that we can reset to 99%. (Smart Pro, Smart Tec, Smart Com, Nitrox Z, etc.) Battery life will be 4-7 years.

Scubapro has bricked many Smartcom’s. They will then offer you a discount on a new Galileo. If this is not acceptable, do not send your Smartcom to another dive shop or Scubapro. We have been able to revive many bricked computers at no additional cost.

Questions? Please read this entire page before writing or calling tbrady17@gmail.com

If you would like tracking information, include email address in box, or send email to tbrady17@gmail.com with model, serial number, name, address, and date sent. If you have a deadline or need expedited shipping, please say so. We normally use a bulk shipper for international, which takes a little longer.

Most Scubapro Uwatec dive computers are oil filled and must be sent out for battery maintenance. We now replace these computer batteries in our shop for less. If your computer is not pictured does not mean we cant do it. Cost if done at BRADY $50 for oil filled. Includes battery, reset and test. Log data retained in most cases. Old log data cannot be removed but sometimes is erased when unit is reset.

Scubapro no longer replaces these Uwatec batteries. They will destroy your computer, remove parts, and offer you a discount on a new one.

Smart series computers sold in the US had a lifetime free battery replacement policy which required it be sent to Scubapro through a dealer (example Smart Com, Smart Pro, Smart Tec). Scubapro will no longer honor this policy. We are not a Scubapro dealer and do not honor this program but we can replace the battery.

Text Box: These older Uwatec dive computer are not serviceable. The case is welded and there are no replacement cases. Shown are Aladin AIR X, Aladin AIR X O2, Aladin NitroX

Cannot Do

Adding Bungee Strap to Aladin Pro

Remove pins and old straps by pushing or tapping on small end of pin. Remove old straps. Replace pins, inserting the way they came out. Thread at least 2 loops of small bungee material under pins. Tie knot. Replacement pins are available.

Uwatec HP hoses are notorious leakers. Almost every Uwatec HP hose I get in leaks. Have yours replaced during your Smartcom or Aladin Air service for $53.08

Some Uwatec dive computers can be selected for either metric or imperial mode. I have the adaptors and software to change the mode on those computers. If you bought this on Ebay or would like the mode changed, let me know, in writing, on your note mailed with the box.

This catalog is a list I’ve compiled from mostly old Scubapro price lists that shows year in catalog, part numbers and MSRP. I made this list mostly for my own curiosity but thought it might be of interest for other owners of Uwatec computers. I can service batteries in yellow highlighted items .
